Abstract

|
Cystic lymphangioma of the retroperitoneum is a rare congenital benign tumor, arising from retroperitoneal lymphatics. The authors report a case of cystic lymphangioma arising from the retroperitoneum of a 30-year-old female patient presenting with left lower abdominal pain. US and CT demonstrated a ovoid retroperitoneal cystic mass. Surgery and pathological
examination revealed lymphangioma.
